our promise, mission, and what we believe

I pray that you  may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height — to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

- Ephesians 3:18-19

our promise

Discover a God who is better than you thought and a life more amazing than you imagined.

our MISSION for our church body

helping people find and follow god

Finding God happens when a person trusts Jesus as Savior.

Following God happens as a person increasingly responds
to Jesus as Lord as they grow in grace.

OUR VALUES

PEOPLE

Because people matter to God, and everybody needs the gospel. Compassion for people compels us.

ETERNITY

Because people are created to live forever, and eternal destinies are at stake. Heaven and hell are real.

GRACE

Because Grace isn’t an app, it’s an operating system.

TRUTH

Because we are ruined by the lies we believe and set free by the truths we receive.

THE CROSS

Because Christ’s sacrifice has blown us away with love and grace, and we want everybody to experience the treasure we found when we found Him.

GROWTH

Everything we do moves people along the four steps of the Grace Pathway — God Saves You, God Blesses You, God Grows You, God Uses You.

our approach to church

We promise a clear, understandable approach to Christian faith. We focus on the core teachings of Jesus and the Bible to help you build genuine strength, find lasting purpose, and develop a resilient hope. We'll show you how these principles lead to tangible positive changes, not just ask you to blindly believe.

  • ABOUT GOD

There is one God (Deut. 6:4), Creator of all things (Rev. 4:11), who is infinitely perfect (Matt. 5:48), existing eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19).

Jesus Christ is the true God and true man (Phil. 2:6-11). He was sent by the Father (John 20:21), conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin, Mary (Luke 1:34-38). He died on the cross, the Just for the unjust (1 Pet. 3:18), as a substitutionary sacrifice (Heb. 2:9), and all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood (Rom. 5:9). He rose from the dead according to the Scriptures (1 Cor. 15:3-4). He is now at the right hand of the Majesty on high as our great High Priest (Heb. 8:1). He will come again to establish His Kingdom of righteousness and peace (Isa. 9:6-7).

  • ABOUT SALVATION

Man and woman, created in the image and likeness of God (Gen. 1:27), fell through disobedience, incurring both physical and spiritual death (Rom. 6:23). Therefore, everyone is born with a sinful nature (Rom. 5:12), is separated from the life of God (Eph. 4:18), and can be saved only through the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ (Rom. 3:25).

Salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ for all people (1 John 2:2). Those who repent and believe in Him are justified by grace through faith (Rom. 3:21-24), born again of the Holy Spirit (Titus 3:4-7), delivered from the dominion of darkness, transferred into the Kingdom of God’s Son (Col. 1:13), granted the gift of eternal life, and adopted as the children of God (Rom. 8:14-16; John 1:12).

  • ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT & THE CHURCH

The Holy Spirit is a divine person (John 14:16-18), sent to indwell, guide, teach, gift, empower, and bear His fruit in every believer (John 16:13; 1 Cor. 12:4, 11; Acts 1:8; Gal. 5:22-23). He convicts the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment (John 16:7-11).

  • ABOUT THE BIBLE

The Old and New Testaments, inerrant as originally given, were verbally inspired by God and are a complete revelation of His will for our salvation. They constitute the divine and only rule of Christian faith and practice (2 Pet. 1:20-21; 2 Tim. 3:15-17).

Pastor Bill prefers to use the NKJV, but he really just wants people to read their Bibles.

DO YOU KNOW JESUS AS YOUR PERSONAL SAVIOR?

DISCOVER JESUS

watch pastor bill present the gospel

Have you reached a point where you know you need Jesus? Perhaps you've been going to church your whole life, but you've never really embraced Jesus as your Savior. Or, maybe you've never stepped through the doors of a church, you'd say you're not religious. Whatever your background, Jesus stands ready to receive you. It isn't about a religion, or a list of do's and don'ts - it's about a personal choice to accept Jesus and experience a life more amazing than you can imagine.

But, you may ask, how can I get saved?

We like to call it the A,B,C's of the gospel.

ADMIT

I'm a sinner in need of Christ.

Romans: 3:23 - For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

BELIEVE

That Jesus died on the cross for me.

1 Peter 2:24 - Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness - by whose stripes you were healed.

CHOOSE

To exclusively trust in Christ as my only hope for salvation.

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

PRAY

God, I admit I'm a sinner. I've disobeyed you. I admit that I can never solve my sin problem on my own. I need you.

God, I believe that Jesus died on the cross for me. I believe you transferred my sins to Christ. I believe you punished Him for my sins, which are paid in full by Jesus Christ. I believe that no amount of religion, good works, or living clean could ever pay for my sins - just Jesus.

God, I choose to trust in Jesus Christ as my only hope. I choose to receive Him as my Savior. I choose to turn away from any other hope. That is my choice. Thank you, God for saving me. I now trust in you alone. Amen.
