This gathering exists to build a durable, Christ-centered community for adults navigating the critical decades post high school through their 20s and 30s.
BEHIND THE NAME
Our name comes from Acts 2:44, where the early church "shared everything they had in common."
We believe the Christian life is meant to be lived together – not just attending the same gathering, but sharing life, faith, and responsibility for one another.

How do we work
This is a different kind of gathering-a place to be formed by Scripture, to belong with integrity, and to share real life with other adults who are trying to build wisely in the midst of work, relationships, marriage, finances, and change.
WHAT IS 'THE COMMONS'?
The Commons is a Christ-centered community for adults in their 20s and 30s who want more than surface-level connection — grounded in Scripture, shaped through worship and teaching, and practiced through shared life.
Do I have to be a Christian to come?
No. If you’re exploring faith, returning to church, or simply curious, you’re welcome here. You won’t be singled out or pressured — just invited to participate at your own pace.
What happens on First Tuesday?
First Tuesday follows a clear rhythm with optional entry points:
The Common Table (7:00–7:30):optional dinner and conversation
The Common Gathering (7:30–8:45):worship and teaching (the core of the night)
The Common Groups (8:45+):optional discussion, prayer, and deeper connection
What if I’m introverted or short on time?
Come to theCommon Gathering at 7:30– that’s the heart of the evening. It’s completely fine to arrive for that portion and head out afterward.
What should I expect when I walk in?
A simple welcome, clear directions, and an evening centered on worship and teaching. If you want help finding your place, someone can point you to the next step — if you don’t, you can simply attend and observe.
Is there a cost?
All of The Commons is free to attend.
